Here we are, back again on the undying love I seem to have for Soap & Glory makeup! Today, in this overdue blogpost, I'm going to talk about Cheekmate, S&G's cheek and lip stain.

| Clean and simple packaging. Love it! |
I'll start off by saying just how much I love stain products. I love low maintenance products because I'm relatively low maintenance myself. I start out with the best of intentions but unless I need to look my best half way through the day, I don't really bother to panic over reapplying my lip colour. Mibbe they makes me a bad woman, who knows and who cares? I'm certain most of us feel that way.
So stains are naturally something that I gravitate towards especially when it comes to lip products.
S&G have done it again with this wee beauty. It's a gel like formula (not a liquid like the diabolical Benetints) and it blends out like a wee blendy out thing. So because of this it's nor drying at all. Even on my winter beaten lips this feels like nothing on and extremely comfortable.

| Beautiful reddy/peach and dewy too! |
It's only real downside is it does require a learning curve. It's not a product that's foolproof, you can and will use too much the first time you use it. And you will look like a clown and laugh at your peachy/red cheeks in a mix of horror and awe at how pigmented a small amount is. But once you've learned how much you like to have on your cheeks it is beautiful and genuinely, at least on my skin, does last the majority of the day.
On the lips it's similar. Because this stain seems to have a slight peachy/red/pink colour to it it's so flattering on the lips and can be worn lightly to give that MLBB feel or vamped up to a lovely reddish colour for that effortless bitten glam.
I would definitely recommend this if you're awayon holiday or for the upcoming spring and summer. It's a gorgeous fresh shade that is going to be flattering on everyone and is longlasting so we don't need to worry about losing that healthy glow as soon as 1 o'clock swings around.
And it's really well priced at £8 for a whopping 11ml. Bargain!
